Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy - Phase II
In phase II of Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy (DLT), medical compression garments are generally used in order to maintain the results of phase I. These garments apply compression from outside, which decreases continuously up the leg or arm. Medical compression garments can be more stretchable than bandages, which makes them more pleasant to wear and allows easier application.
Compression garments are available in various compression classes (compression pressures) and different styles (gauntlet, armsleeve, thigh-high, tights, open or closed toe, etc.) and can therefore be selected to perfectly meet patient's individual requirements. The JOBST compression garment range offers both Ready-to-Wear and Custom-Fit garments.
JOBST Ready-to-Wear Compression Garments for the Management of Lymphoedema
Ready-to-Wear garments are suitable if the patient's lymphoedema is relatively mild to moderate, uncomplicated and their limb is of a regular shape.
