Crosshouse Hospital Orthopaedic Department held an event yesterday which took over the whole of the Orthopaedic Department and saw around 80 members of staff attend.
Competitions, suggestion boxes ingeniously covered in Delta-Cast (with added sparkle too!), a fantastically calorific cake stall, practical plaster cast applications and department visitors were encouraged to try to use the Cast removal saw (not on actual patients though!). The staff were delighted to raise £126 from the Cake Sale and this will be donated to a local bone charity.
